Diehl Steel History

In 1926 Albert Diehl founded the Diehl Steel Company in Cincinnati, Ohio to service the tool steel needs of one of the countries largest machine tool hubs. Coming from a tool and die background, Mr. Diehl knew the importance of fast, efficient service and high quality products. That tradition of service continues today. After more than 85 years, Diehl Steel is still a family owned and operated business.
As Diehl Steel grew from a small local supplier to a leading national and international distribution center, we've never lost that "corner store" friendliness and personal service. Today we provide tool steels and alloy steels from coast to coast in the United States, as well as in Canada and Puerto Rico. Our tool and alloy steels are used in thousands of manufacturing applications. From giant automotive and aerospace producers to the small family job shop, we deliver the highest quality steel products, on time, to your exact specifications. With 30,000 square feet of warehoused inventory and the largest regional cutting capacity, we continue to provide our customers with the best service in the industry.
