4340 Alloy Steel


4340 is a low alloy, nickel-chromium-molybdenum steel capable of being heat treated to high strength levels. The alloy has a good combination of ducility, toughness and strength along with high hardenability.

The Specialty Steel Products are available upon request and all stock is subject to mill availability. A Diehl Steel representative will assist all customer requests for these products.
