CINCINNATI, OH (June 16, 2016) – Diehl Tool Steel is featuring its popular Accu-Square pre-squared tool steel capabilities, as well as a selection of Hitachi hot work tool steel, at Amerimold 2016, which is currently being held in Novi, Michigan. Visitors to Diehl’s booth are able to inspect the company’s wide selection of cold work and hot work tool steel pre-squared to tool-maker tolerances, as well as barrel and screw components made with Hitachi steels.

According to Mr. Thomas Bell, Specialty Steel Product Group Head at Hitachi Metals, Ltd., “The barrel and screw components we are featuring at the show were made by Hitachi, and with Hitachi steels. Our customers have seen greater molding efficiency and productivity when molding glass filled plastics.” Diehl is now offering Hitachi’s SLD-i, DAC-P, and DAC-MAGIC specialty steels which are ideal for die casting and forging applications.

Mr. James Brackman, Vice President Marketing at Diehl Tool Steel went on to comment, “Amerimold has been a great show this year. Traffic is noticeably heavier at our booth than in previous years, and there has been great interest in our Accu-Square products.” Accu-Square tool steel saves tool, die and mold makers time by reducing or eliminating the need for further squaring of the blocks. It comes pre-squared on all six sides to a tolerance range of the customer’s choosing.

Diehl Tool Steel offers tool steel, alloy steel, high speed steel, carbon steel, powder metal products, stainless steel and aluminum block to tool and die makers. The company maintains an extensive inventory and in-stock items are typically shipped in 24 to 48 hours.
